I deleted those and the comps still so slow. I ran AVG 8.0 scanner and AD-AWARE scanner and all they found were about 315 tracking cookies which i assume dont slow down my computer. My computer would restart and everything would go nicely for a week or two b4 it started loading slow again! system restore has failed me now, considering it just deleted all my checkpoints and no checkpoints exist after this problem started again (yesterday). Everytime my computer would boot slow like that id system restore to an earlier time. luckily i created one just after i finished installing everything after the first reformat and the computer was in a perfect state fast loading and everything.
(b4 all this happend it usually took max 30 sec) so after that started happening about 2 months ago, i started creating checkpoints for system restore.
Logitech setpoint firefox addon windows#
it takes about 5 mins from loading windows to get to the Welcome screen and it takes about 15 mins when i login to my account just to start everything up, icons and all my simple starting programs like Xfire. not much later after that, windows started loading slow again. There are better trackballs at the same price. So after switching motherboards i reformatted cause windows was going slow (corrupted Hal.dll i suppose).

Lacking a scroll-wheel is a pain, the software driver emulation is clunky. The button are hard to press, and sometimes doesn't register.

That is, click, then the page moves (that is, “pan”) in any direction, pan speed depends on distance of the cursor moved.
The buttons requires more pressure than most mouse buttons. They make a click sound, but sometimes won't register. There's no middle-click button, and no scroll.(they are standard 4th and 5th buttons) (works in Linux.) The 2 small slit buttons are standard browser back-page and forward-page.The two big buttons are left and right buttons. The cursor moves too slow in macOS, even if you set cursor speed in preference all the way up. That holding one button then the ball becomes scroll ball. It came out in 2004,Īnd is still in production as of 2021-01. The “Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse” is classic.
